Purchased the JL Audio 10w6v3 he had up for sale. I paid at night, he had the sub shipped out the next afternoon. Packaged good, arrived just as described. Communication was quick and polite. Would definitely do business with him again.
1:It looks like your amp has a high pass crossover, utilize that and see how much that helps
2: Run new larger gauge speaker wire from the amp to the speakers
3: Bridge the 4 channel to the fronts, get a small 2 channel for the rears.
What is the specific amp model? How much amperage can it draw? What gauge & brand of wire do you have? You might need to go up in fuse size but only do so if the wire is capable of it.
Hmmm, I just might have to grab these. What shipping method would you use? PM me your PayPal info I'll probably send payment later tonight when I get home from work.
Your settings do sound a bit odd. I would return the mid. & treble controls on the head unit to 0, change the frequency multiplier on the front channels to x1 and raise it up some so you're not at 20hz. See if that improves it at all.Might I also suggest switching the crossover to full on...
There's lots of variables to consider, but the short answer is different vehicles load differently. You just have to find the box that works best for ya. The system I have in my mountaineer now was louder and sounded better in my mazda 6. It is true SUV's aren't always louder.
