Got it figured out.................... WOW! It hits SO HARD! There was an issue with the sub output..............at the 0 (no boost level) it was puting out lower preout voltage. I switched it to one of the full range outputs and it went right up to 60 volts...........I actually turned it...

Volume and gain are maxxed out and only 21 volts ac..... What gives? I am going through a epic-160, but it is set to off.....

How much voltage should I have for a mono 1000 watt (actual 1128) into a 4 ohm load (measures 3.6)? I calculated around 62-64, but only get 20.... Suggestions?

The 160 is 50 bucks more at crutchfield, but looks simpler to mount/access/adjust than the original. I am mounting under the radio, so its a one shot deal. I guess I could do the other too, but then I need room for the unit + the knob. Gotta do some measuring.

I am looking at a clarion 746 EQ, with a max input sensitivity of 3V. I have an alpine head unit rated a 4. Is this a problem? It also says max output voltage 7 V. Does that mean the EQ has a 7 V preout to my amps? Will this added voltage help? I need the EQ to compensate for various types...
