    Crossover, tweeter, or amp problem?

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping not to have to check out the speaker connections because my door panel is a ***** to get off. But I'll have to do that when I get the down time. How exactly do you go about bridging the channels? Noob question, sorry!

    Crossover, tweeter, or amp problem?

One of my component speakers (CDT Audio CL-60) is cutting in and out at low volumes. The woofer plays continuously, but the tweeter does not. From about 0-20 it doesn't play at all; 21-30 it cuts in and out; 31-35 it plays fine. I've checked the connections at the amplifier multiple times and it...

Speaker only playing at high volumes...?

Still having problems. Was messing with the wiring yesterday... re-did the speaker connections to the amp. After the first time the right speaker was still cutting in and out except at high volumes. The woofer was continuously playing, but the tweeter was not producing. Re-did the connections...

    Question about distribution blocks...

What does running the power wire from the battery to the fuse box and then to the distro do? What would be in the difference in running it straight from the battery to the fused distro?

Installing two amps without a distibution block?

Thanks. How do I know for sure? Should I ask KnuKonceptz?

Installing two amps without a distibution block?

Alright. I was wondering how the hell the power went from one side to another... definitely missing the fuse. Which one will I need if I'm only running ~400 watts? And will I need more than one? Appreciate your help man.

Installing two amps without a distibution block?

Yeah, my bad... I figured that out too. But I guess I just needed to fold it over in order for it to be secure. How would I be able tp see if there are fuses in it? I assume there are... but the distro block was included in an amp kit package I bought from someone on this forum so I'm not...

Installing two amps without a distibution block?

I have no idea how to use it... I took off the plastic casing and took out the screws with a hex key but that's about as far as I got. Is there more to it? It doesn't seem like there is anyway to fully secure the wire. What am I doing wrong?

Speaker only playing at high volumes...?

I bought them used. But again, it is only one of the speakers that isn't producing sound... so I imagine not enough metal contact is the problem.

Speaker only playing at high volumes...?

Thanks for the replies. It's a strong possibility that there is not enough metal contact. I **** at stripping wires haha. I'll check it out tomorrow in the daylight and hope that solves the problem. Thanks guys

Installing two amps without a distibution block?

I already have this distribution block: Fuse Block, Fuse Blocks But I was confused about how to properly use it. I have some 4 gauge KnuKonceptz wire that fit perfectly into the 4 gauge terminal... but the other 1/0 I have was a little too small for the bigger terminals. So I basically said...

Installing two amps without a distibution block?

Thanks for the reply. This is what I was really wondering but I appreciate all the other replies trying to help out. Would I use one terminal or two? EDIT: Stupid question... two, obviously.

Installing two amps without a distibution block?

Wow. That is disturbing news. Right now it's only pushing 50 watts at 2 channels- so 100 total... but wow. Going to hook that wire to the battery asap!
