Hey, Im gonna rebuild my box from ported to a sealed FG box. But I am not sure how big it should be. I was thinking around 1.5 to 2 cubes. But im not sure. Anyone have suggestions? Oh and Im probably gonna get a much bigger amp for it than the one in my sig.

Alright, I want to build a new ported sub box for my Type R out of Fiberglass. I see alot of ported FG boxes, and im just lookin for some pointers on how you guys roughly got the correct volume and port length. Im guessing you just estimate alot? thanks.

Alright, its been a LONG time since ive been shoppin around for car audio, and ive decided I want to upgrade my current sub amp. I tried using the "search" function but didnt find anything. So im wondering what are some reliable 700-1k watt amps @ 2 ohms(1 channel). maybe for 250-500$.

I think it depends on the vehicle... as to which direction is the best to face the sub.

from my knowledge strapping 2 amps has you set one as master and the other as slave or copy or whatever. Then whatever you set the gain to or crossovers or anything on the master it will automatically set the exact same on the slave, so they both runnin at the same gains and you dont have problems.

I currently have the RE component tweeters, they are kind of harsh. Ive been trying to find some softer sounding tweets... Anyone got any advice?

You sure its that? Or where u clipping the signal... I have the RE comps with a 100 x2 infinity amp powerin em, nothin happened to em yet.

prob a newb question... why do people paint the ports black? Is it so if/when you carpet your box you dont see the bare mdf in the port? Well I must hear if that SX sounds good ported.
