ya installdr had the right wiring info for my car (90 cav z24)

I have my type-r in a 2.5^3 @ 32 hz on a MRP-650 and it gets plenty loud for me.

bought my amp off of them just over a month ago. shipped promplty had the air pillow things for packaging and recieved in perfect condition.

the red light means the amp is going into protection. one thing first are you grounding onto bare metal? you might also have the sub wired to low of an impedance for the amp.

just had to turn the gain up a bit more. only had it like up a little bit at first. have to tune it with dmm after i get the box done.

ya got it working. just had to turn the gain up a little bit for it to start moving the sub. will tune with dmm when i get the box built.

nvm everything is working now. just gotta build the box

the amp is an Alpine MRP-M650. I dont know if this thing is going into protection or not(how do I tell if its gone into protection or not), but it is getting power. the deck is a pionner DEH-2800MP, and the preouts dont seem to be putting out any voltage according to the dmm on DCV and ACV. so...
