I think its just dependent on the regulator and or if its pcm controlled. My stock alt charged at 14.5-14.7, my HO charged at 13.8. Not a big deal i guess.

If that's the case you're moving lateral in performance not vertical. If you're using the same power i don't see a point in expecting a different sub to be louder if its in its proper enclosure as opposed to another.

i just skimmed through the tread. Did i read you have a 4 channel? If thats so you could possible be using the wrong outputs... For example you have your rca's hooked onto channel 1 and 2, and your subs on output channels 3 and 4, or vise versa...

I Dont have experience with the hds lines but I know my friend has the hds2's 12's he has them on a american bass ph4000 that I sold him last year. He runs it at .5 ohm and Hes had no problems with them. I read so much on their "problems" but I have yet to see someone with personal experience...
