hi, i'm installing a amp in a car with the battery in the trunk, my power wire is only about a total of 3 ft long from the amp to the battery, is this too short?? i don't want my car to catch on fire.. please help

so i just measured the subwoofer size, its exactly 10 inchs wide, exactly.. i was thinking maybe i should just buy a dual 10" box and wire them up in there... does anyone know the exact width of a 10" subwoofer?

yeah i only wired one tower up.. if i wire 2 towers in there i can get it to 4ohms i think.. 2 towers gona take up alotta room though so i dunno

Pioneer GM-D8500M 600W x 1 at 2 Ohms Mono Car Amplifier this the one i got.. im hooking it up to a home threater tower ohm rated at 4~8ohms.. but on my ohm meter it reads out 7ohm the amp i got only says i can run at 4ohm or 2 ohm... but not 8ohm... can i do 8-7ohm safely without damaging...

hi all i just got a 32hz box custom built for me. theres 2 12" type rs in there right now, when i set everything up it sounded like a regular ported box you get at futureshop tuned higher but thats probably because of the bass Frequency and low pass filter tuned wrong, i've had them at about...

**** this gonna be my 3rd pair of rcas. Is it okay to run this with only the red rca wire connected for now or will that cause problems? I took the deck out and the white rca is squashed

to make this shorter... i was testing my rca connnections where it connects to the amp in the trunk.. i wiggled them and still had half power.. i then took off the white rca plug and gained back full power, after plugging the white rca i get half power playing again which idont want... what...

was in the car audio store today and found this nice deal for this clarion dpx11500 for $400 originaly worth $700.... cant remember if it was 4 or 3 bills... this amp is long and freaking big and looks like it took a 0 or 2 gauge power wire.. was thinking of upgrading to this from my premier prs...

okay updated pictures, pick the rigth one.. or lemme know if both of them are righht.

but my question is can i wire them up together from outside of the subwoofer box? or do they ahve to be wired up from the inside of the box where the wires arent visable? there is 2 termals + - connected to the other + - on the side of the box, or do those 2 wires have to be connected inside...

want to go with the first picture set up^ which picture is right? or is both of them right? befor i had the wires connecting from sub to sub Inside the box, which made it so you cannot see if the wires were connected or not if they came loose... now i thoguht instead i could wire them...

hmmm would i be able to use that box tuned to 42hz and retune it to 32hz by glueing some 2x4s on the inside?

hmm i geuss i would have to make a box to get at that tune then... all the tools i need is those adjustable clamp to clamp the peices of wood together right? how hard would this be? my friends dad has a little shop in his house that i can use and im sure his dad can give me a hand..

it will make no difference in sound? i just inverted em, but now the **** box tips over cause the subs are so heavy, i bolted it down to the carpet but now its wobbly and i have to becareful while i drive now cause it might tip over... i realy dont wanna take the heavy *** woofers out just to...
