Haha yea its expensive but I'll admit its worth the money. Looks like Mark puts a lot of effort into building a quality box. Then again I went from a 1.0cu ft prefab box from Tweeter to the custom ported box. I'm a happy customer though .

Also got a friend with a G35(sedan) with a W7, only problem is the 3rd brake light rattles like hell. XXX sounds good to me. Definitely get some sound deadening in the trunk!

As long as its better than Alpine's I'd be happy, thinking of getting an eclipse deck in the near future. From what i heard/read, Alpine's IPOD interface is an expensive disappointment.

My 791xv never can go as far as advertised. Range is also heavily affected in a building through walls as well. Best distance I got was after a football game and when my car was in clear view in the parking lot

Just need to chime in... Tonight I showed my friends my new setup. Compared mine against a W7 with a 1000/1... Verdict? Everyone thought my setup was louder and cleaner

Yeah after reading all these threads about em I have to mention something completely unrelated to the other threads... Well I ordered a 05 Type-R like two weeks ago and got it the following week. The item is advertised on the website as brand new and looks packaged like new as well.... until...

Make sure they even have it in stock. I ordered something that showed in stock on the site. Called them and guess what... backordered. I was satisfied that I was provided a tracking number a few days after my phone call... not tooo bad.

I got quoted $400-500 from tweeter including materials (Dynamat) for the trunk and doors. They refused to use a product other than theirs. I ended up doing it myself and it isnt hard at all except its time consuming.

I laid down a layer of B-quiet on it, still not done with the deadening but i definitely did notice some improvement with the rattling
