seems to be like your rca cables. if you got an extra pair just plug those in to see if the same thing happens. if it does it could be your preouts on your HU or on the amp.

my subs cut out at vol.20 but when i turn it up to 35max, i get bass back but as soon as i lower the volume the bass gets cut out. anyone know why this is happening? faulty amp?

OK, so i thought the problem with my subs cutting in/out was fixed after i screwed down the speaker terminals tight. I even switch to 12awg speaker wires and soldered them. I had 16awg wires before but because i tighened the terminals too much it actually clamped down on the speaker wires too...

the kenwood would be a nice amp to choose since you can control it through your HU. But if that doesnt matter I would go with the Kicker if you can afford it.

Yeah its suppose to give you better SQ when you turn off the screen.

slash 500 should power the 10 w7 fine. but if you plan to get a 12w7 or 13w7 you'd need a slash 1000.

Each sub is rated 300rms so 2 = 600rms. Technically your underpowering them. I have 2 12v3s with a slash 500, whats the max rms these babies can take?
