So im running my two MTX 451204s (weak i know) with a mono profile AP1000M. My subs are 4 ohm SVC 225W RMS, and the amp is putting out 500W X 1 @ 2 ohms RMS. am i doing any harm by running each sub 25W over? i think i read underworking the sub is worse for it than slightly overworking it, but...

lol so im getting the hint that visonik is crap, how is this amp? Profile AP1000M It is 500W X 1 at 2 ohms so I would be getting 250W to each sub right? (Since two SVC 4 Ohm subs wired to a mono amp has a load of 2 ohms? right?)

Hello all, My amp uses a 40a fuse, but the inline fuse I got with my amp kit is 80a, and I was wondering if using a larger fuse on the power wire would create any sort of problem. The amp's manual says "use the same size fuse or one somewhat larger". Thanks in advance for the help

right, thats what im going to do for as a permanent solution after i get some fuse taps online, but just wanted to do this temporarily. do i risk harming my amp by trying this, or is the worst thing that can happen is that it simply wont work?

Alright so the last thing I need to do for my amp installation is to run my remote turn on wire, and I was about to order some fuse taps to do this (as i'm using my factory head unit with a LOC and do not have any remote turn on outs at the back) but I thought of something. Call me lazy, but...
