The ClarionCZ105BT is very similar to the FZ except that it DOES play cds, and it has an sd slot. It's a little more expensive..but within your price range. I didn't like the idea of giving up the cd player, so my Kenwood also has that capability. Put the phone down and DRIVE!!

Seems as though you've answered your own question. The spark is a direct result of the problem. I know that having two positive leads coming off the battery does not cause any ill effects...if they are wired properly. Put the phone down and DRIVE!!
