Ive got a plastic fiero that runs a 12. Cost about 2k. Point is those cars are made to get loud. What can you burp at?

Most comp sets come with a cross over. Where you can wire the tweet and the speaker. And not worry about ohm loads.

If you get two little distro blocks or find a way to take the two positives and wire them together (same with negs) this puts you Down to one positive and one negative wire total. In the amp book two terminals should be marked for a one ohm load, and I belive from left to right it's the second...

Electricity will take the easiest route, so if you upgrade the wiring size it will do no harm to the wires already there. Also I believe a lot of cars have the same engine block/ battery (-) ground. You could go back through the battery or not, I would suggest not, just for shorter distances...
