id say wire a batt instead of a cap, but i agree with olegni about the voltage and that it isnt necesairy if theres no significant drop. u could try bypassing ur eq and go straight from the hu to the amps with ur rca's and see if that fixes it.

he wanted to use his bass knob so if he decides hes going to use it i believed a clip light would be a good thing to have. IMO i dont like bass/gain knobs i prefer to set it once with an oscilloscope and leave it. +1 on all the brands u listed.

I understand u wanting to stick with those brands but if ur going to use the bass knob I think it would be best to have a clip light on the knob. If ur willing to change ur mind on the brands I suggest u look into audioque. There is a clip light on the remote gain knob and put out good power...

Are you planning on using the remote bass knob? Are you willing to look at a different brand amps?

I have the same phone! Anyway, check to see if ur amps are powering on, if not check the fuse, and the remote wire. If u have a multimeter u can check the rca's voltage and see if it's putting out a signal. Check the signal from the hu to the es and from the es to the amps. Hope this helped...
