I bought 2, didn't know they were refurb till I got them then look at the site. Blew one of them tuesday, sent it back to Stillwater today so we'll see. But other than that, they are loud, just break them in first.

Thanks, they do seem to get different power when wired like that. I looks like the Lanzar OPTI2000D would be a good choice, or the Kicker ZX 1500. I ordered my woofers(Kicker CVX) and somehow clicked 2ohm instead of 4ohm, discovered that when I got them it, oh well, its still the same woofer...

Is it dangerous to the sub or the amp if you run 2 woofers at different ohms, example; both are 2ohm dvc, one subs ran at 1ohm and the other at 4ohm to acheive a 0.8ohm load.

Running all four of mine on a JBL 1200, all sealed now. If your running 2, go ported.
