To measure the impedance curve you would need a tone generator and a Wheatstone bridge along with your multimeter...

As posted what you are measuring is the DCR with only a few hundred mA of current. Nominal impedance would still be considered to be about 4ohms. If you were to measure the impedance at say 20Hz using a working amount of current with the coils at temperature you would get a much different result..

Any monoblock sub amp with stereo RCA inputs is going to sum them in parallel.. Also most music has its sub-bass frequencies mixed on each channel equally anyway... Given if you have different bass tracks going on between Left & Right channels, you will not be able to discern a difference until...
