U musn't know math to well if you believe that I would say "cut" 8.8" ........8.8" is from edge to edge of the port. placing the wall internally shortens it by 0.75". and I am sorry "I" don't round off the number for you. + why not use a table saw to make that cut. + Encosure is...
Of course it can be smaller. I just made it by his approx specs. (H x W) I can make everything "proper" if you gimme the lip drop and depth for jack stowage. also would you like to "check out" the comp designed box vol. for each sub.
So you want it to be rather large. and vented. well, personally i would make it dual chamber incase anything happens to 1 sub, the other will NOT get damaged because of it. (of course more detail needed if u don't know what i mean.)
Well i figured 26 x 46 x 13.5 (external dim)
w/ 2...
So what do you want?
i didn't know the size wood, i figured .75"
( H x W x D )
1- port - 14 x 3 x 6.1668555
14 x 1 x 1.4563747
14 x 1.5 x 2.5168699
14 x 2 x 3.6613031
14 x 4 x 8.9810884
2 ports - 14 x 1 x 4.7926459 ea. vent
14 x 1.5 x 7.7796592 ea. vent
14 x 2 x 11.128012 ea...
ok then. I never said u weren't. But you know some people like to get input on things so i figured since i have this expensive software I may as well help people out. nothing wrong with that. (im not saying ur saying there is)
Note: Diff Drivers, Box Sizes, and Tuning Freq.
We Are going for Subwoofer Specific Enclosures.
(Can also give Good X-Over Range for HP/LP Filter) For Sub/Box Design
If you want a Subwoofer Specific Enclosure then hit me up. Vehicle Specific is totally different. Im not building the boxes.
2.25 cu.ft. @ 32Hz would cut-off about 26.56 Hz and have an average of about 115 Db @ RMS (30Hz - 90Hz) and wouldn't max out much higher
(VC - Wired Separate)
the difference in the cut-off freq is a bit diff between ported(about20.01Hz) @ 26.3166Hz Tune. and sealed (37.45Hz). however the size is tremndously different. these are just basic comp gen. boxes nothing special
It'll pound nice either way. I've been punching in and ****ing my box program (luckly it's the one manufacters use) it can estimate approx dB. and much more.
Would you like it to have a low cut-off freq.? w/ extended bass. I mean you said crisp sounding so id think youd rather a lower...
