Well, I've used both and can tell you they're great subs. Given that you are looking to use less space I'd recommend the H2. Try to get 3cubes net if you can and tune to 33hz.

David has said that they've bumped the Xmax on the new driver to 51mm(one way)

Just buy one and port it.

Why seal them? Just port a pair and save your money.

WOW, 3.5 is pretty big. It should definitely go low I'd suggest 2.25net, 30-35sq" tuned in the low 30's.
