I have a broken 2500d that i'd really like to get fixed. When i called orion they said it would be $300 to have it fixed. If possible i'd like to save some money and if anyone around here would do it for less that would be great. thanks

So the other day i turned on my stereo, only to notice that the subs werent playing. I also smelled a burning smell so i shut it off and checked out all the wiring and found that one of the plastic parts on the end of the RCA was broken off. After replacing the RCA, the amp still didnt come on...

So ive had my 2500d for about 5 months now and it worked perfectly up untill about a month ago. It started doin this thing where if i turned up my volume for longer than a few minutes the subs would turn off, but the amp power light remained on. Its gotten to the point now where if i turn it up...

I used to have a hifonics bx1500d on mine wired to 1 ohm. It was pretty **** loud.

On my 2500d i only see a power light... no protection light so i dont know if its going into protection or not...

I was talking to a sales rep at tweeter that ive known for a while and he seems to know his stuff... he said that some amps cut the audio signal after the voltage drops past 11 volts. Does this sound right to anyone?
