Hey y'all, I'm thinking of getting bass blockers for my front door speakers. Wil the installation of these things be hard? Do I have to take out my HU to install these things?

I just bought a 10" kenwood KFC-WS253 subwoofer from ABC Warehouse for only 18 bucks. Was this a deal of a lifetime or what? Is this a good quality subwoofer? Please tell me some goods and bads of this subwoofer...

My ported box came with a bunch of cotton. What effect does the cotton have in the sound if I put it in the box?

I bought a ported box but I'm not sure how to actually put the subwoofer in. Am I supposed to use screws or should the sub just sorta "fit" into the hole? Also, the box isn't ported yet either, (it just came with a port tube) , so am I supposed to actually cut a hole in the box?
