Shopping for a mid tier (budget) amp and x4 set of speakers. I've been recommended crescendo PWX, but theyre sold in pretty fringe websites only, which is sort of unsettling.

I have a 06 civic exn currently it has a sub in the back, factory amp and speakers. Was thinking about purchasing some crescendo PWX first, or would an amp be more important? also whats the difference between 4 ohm and 8 ohm speakers?
