you keep throwing a number up to where the voltage drops when your playing your system beleive it or not your stereo can be used to test it

ok well its pretty simple man you have a volt meter in your car? hook it to that battery engine off key on turn ur stereo up and look at the voltage... how do you expect someone to say if its a bad battery or not if you cant give us something besides a midtronics readout easy way to test it...

a battery is a battery and ive told u before that looking at voltage when the car is running is pointless... this is why i stopped helping with electrical problems on this site... yall dont listen but what do i know

how do you expect to test a battery with the car on? did you read my other posts?

i didnt say it didnt need a battery but you are misguided all the battery is used for is starting and a voltage stabilizer

ok ill tell u again since u seemed to skip right over my post in the other thread.... you dont test your battery when your vehicle is running load it up when the engine is NOT running with a proper electrical system in your vehicle your batterys should NOT be powering your stuff in the vehicle...

is that when your vehicle is on? because a battery does nothing when the motor is running....

not sure if its your main battery you use or not but an ez way to test a batter if you dont have a VAT is to disable the ignition or fuel pump put a dvm on the battery and crank the car(its not going to start because you disabled it) and it will put a nice load on the battery i usually crank for...

ok well im assuming you was testing with the car on? when your engine is running the batterys shouldnt be powering anything if your electrical is up to par it all comes from the alt so turn your engine off put a decent load on it and check out the voltage
