Where would you put the tweeters?

I'm a new owner of a (used) 2013 Chrysler 200 sedan. I was debating between two different setups: 1) run midrange driver in the door (anywhere from 6" to 6x9") and a 3.5" coaxial speaker in the dash - these are stock locations 2) run a component setup with crossover (passive); midrange in the...

10'' sub for .5^3 sealed 5'' mounting depth

Would a 10" Peerless XLS work well with this; there is one on eBay for only $10. I can't find any specs.

6" component speakers (passive) on a budget.

raverx, I already know about the kit to install a receiver in the lower pocket. But why would I want to fugly my interior with two receivers? The other kit is for non- dual climate control equipped Accords. The reason I was stating why I am using the factory radio is to simply let people know...

6" component speakers (passive) on a budget.

Yeah, I know I said I was on a budget, but lets talk I've looked (online) at a variety of comps. TS-C720PRS: these get good reviews, but look to be recommended for active set ups? Supposedly (with the passive crossover) the tweeters are a bit harsh at high-low to moderate volumes, so this is...

6" component speakers (passive) on a budget.

I'm a little hesitant on Hertz tweeters, they are a bit harsh to me. Those are aluminum's right? Because I will be running them passive (little control over tweeter volume), I prefer tweeters that will not get to harsh at higher volume. Soft dome tweeters only please.

6" component speakers (passive) on a budget.

I have not listened to any of these; I have heard ID's outgoing CSX in someones BMW - active setup and I was impressed, but those are at ID's higher end.

6" component speakers (passive) on a budget.

I have a 2005 Honda Accord sedan; OEM radio (climate and radio controls are housed together - no aftermarket adapter support). I am shopping for an 6.5/6" component set for the front doors. The woofer will be housed in the factory location, while the tweeter will be put in the upper door panel...

White noise (hiss) issue with OEM head unit.

I installed a Line Output Converter, but not the cheap ones, a more "premiume" one; a Maxxsonic MX-1. From volume 0 (no sound) to as high as I wish to go I get a constant "hissing", also called white noise. This is a big let down because this is why I installed the LOC in the first place, to...

    White noise (hiss) with LOC.

I have a Line Output Converter that I use to connect my amplifier(s) with RCA. Its a Maxxsonics MX-1, not one of those cheap plastic models. From volume 0 (no music sound) to as high as I wish to go I get a constant "hissing" noise, or also called white noise (much like the noise you get on a...

    How would I install a Audiocontrol LC6i line-output-converter?

Anybody please? OK lets make this easier. How or where did you hook up your high-to-low inline converter (AudioControl / Clean Sweap / MX-1 or whatever) power wire along with a 4 gauge amp wire. And jee, no factory amp
