The kx is 1 ohm stable the zx does it's power at 2 ohms but you can drop it lower if you're careful.

Although, I might be gettin myself some of those BTLs also.

I vote solo-x. You can make them sound great sealed or get as loud as want ported. Get a good amp of 2kw or better and you're good. I see you're from montgomery, you should go by Jimmy's Car Stereo if you havent already. Im in huntsville, a couple hrs north of you fyi.

we ran 2 L7 10s off of 2 zx2500s for burps (12v) in 06 daily, we've had them on a memphis 4000d and had not problems. They are strong.

i agree the sub looks classy. im not exactly a rockford fanboy but they look nice and their amps have always been pretty solid.
