I got the Clarion DXZ785USB that does 6v 5.6v rms time alignment etc. But I jus don't want to use it for some reason. I'll look into the JVC and a couple others. About how much does that JVC run? And since Eclipse isn't sold here anymore, what's the best way to go about getting an Eclipse unit...

Yea I was looking at the Eclipse. Wouldn't mind trying one out. What is the RCA output on that one? Looking for a nice eq. I mean a dead HU will work too. Also thought bout a JVC unit.

OP. If your into show cars and build show cars, then you should know proper way to install a system like this. You go 2 PDX1000.1s and another 4ch amp. One would think....man this is a lot of power. You have to be able to supply the demand... Otherwise...like its been said...you have pricey...

Ok, you should get a new amp kit. You can get them relatively cheap online. Go to the classifieds on here and see whats available. Youll find what you need. But the 4 ga to 8 ga I wouldnt do. Keep it consistent when it comes to the audio realm. I would never mix n match wire sizes...but thats...

4 and 8 gauge? Your using both to run power to the amp? Use 4 gauge for power. Your electrical system will be fine. If your using 8 gauge I hope its for speaker wire...

JBL are good speakers. I had some GTO series coax 6.5s in the rear deck of a 1987 Honda I had. Sounded pretty good. I don't think the JBLs would be a bad choice. The other question is, how much are you wanting to spend?

Jus save your money. By the time you get the 100 bucks something else will be avail. And hell who knows that amp might still be avail. Patience young grass hopper.

Clarion Alpine or Kenwood for me. Been using Clarion decks since 2008. They do what I need them to. The best one I've had was prolly the Alpine cda-9831. If I could find another one of those I'd buy it. Next best I had is my Clarion DXZ785USB, which is in its box. Currently using CZ500. Works...
