    What next for more DB's???????

I am really limited on port options because of the size of the box. If I go with more ports or a larger single port I can not get the required lenght, the port has to work within a 15" depth.

    What next for more DB's???????

I have 2 RE Audio 10's (SRi10D2 300w each) in a 2.5cubic ft(common chamber 54.5x8.5x15) enclosure tuned to 34hz with a single 4"x10.5" aero port. At first I was powering the subs with a Soundstream PCX2.540 bridged@ 2ohms for 540watts and last night I upgraded to an Audiopipe AP1500.1D bridged...

Will my subs handle the power??????

Well that throws the chart right out the window! What is actual output? I just measured my ohms and both subs are measuring 2.0 ohms.

Will my subs handle the power??????

Okay,...you have lost me!!! LOL I am going to step outside and measure the ohms of my subs, I have them each wired at 4 ohms to present a final load of 2 ohms on the amp bridged. I will post what the actual ohms are shortly.

Will my subs handle the power??????

That will help a lot! Do you have anything to add about my concerns with static ohms compared to actual ohms? I have my subs wired @ 2ohms but I know this does not mean they are actually resting or working at 2ohms, should I just check the ohms at the box and go by that?

Will my subs handle the power??????

I think so?? My plan is to us my DMM and a 60Hz tone and set the a/c output voltage. I found a nice chart converting a/c voltage to watts but I am not sure where I saw it? I am not sure how this method can be accurate given the fact that true ohms can be difficult to measure and the chart is...

Will my subs handle the power??????

Can you read?? You are never going to be a mod if you can't read!! How can a post about helping with amp choice be the same as one questioning the power handling abilities of a sub? You really are a annoying little shet aren't you,....I made bold some key points to help you determine what...

What should I look for if the subs are not handling the power well?

Are you seeing double? There is only one thread?? Break them in half,...a whole one has you all messed up!

Will my subs handle the power??????

I just ordered a Audiopipe AP1500.1D to power two RE Audio 10SRiD2 subs rated at 300w RMS (600w combined), should I set the gain at full power(950w@2ohm) or reduce the gain to achieve 600W@2ohm. I know most subs will handle more than rated with the correct enclosure and tune and I will loose...

    Pick a winner; Hifonics BRZ1200.1D, Soundstream RUB1.1000D, Audiopipe AP1500.1D

Thanks for all the input,.....I ordered the AP1500.1D for $149.00. It will be replacing a Soundstream PCX2.540 rated at 540w@2ohms bridged, I hope the AP1500.1D is louder and my RE subs can handle it.

    Pick a winner; Hifonics BRZ1200.1D, Soundstream RUB1.1000D, Audiopipe AP1500.1D

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a new amp but I want to make sure I am picking the correct one. I need 800w@2 Ohm or more to power to RE Audio 10's I can not spend over $200. Here are the contestants; 1.) Soundstream RUB1.1000D - $179.00- (The least powerful of the three but I think...

    Criticize my new website...

Very nice web site,..a couple of suggestions. I would remove the @caraudio from all your reference names or add more references from other sources. Having all your references from one source makes you appear "simple" or inexperienced. You need more information on the actual process of...

800w @2ohm for less than $200 amp needed

Is the AP1500 a better or more powerful amp than the Soundstream Rub.1000D or the Hifonics HFi1500D?
