I have 2 RE Audio 10's (SRi10D2 300w each) in a 2.5cubic ft(common chamber 54.5x8.5x15) enclosure tuned to 34hz with a single 4"x10.5" aero port.
At first I was powering the subs with a Soundstream PCX2.540 bridged@ 2ohms for 540watts and last night I upgraded to an Audiopipe AP1500.1D bridged at 2 ohms for 950watts. It is louder with the AP1500.1D but not as much so as I had hoped it would be, I was expecting a big improvement going from 540watts to 950watts but not so much. I set the gains with a dmm so I am fairly certain I am getting "around" 950 watts.
Okay, what do i do next, what would make a significant improvement,.....buying some better subs?
