Hi I am going to build a box for a 12" SE and I'm going to use Moe Lester's diagram for a 2.1 cuft box tuned to 32 Hz. Displacement of the SE 12" is .15 cuft so what does this mean in terms of tuning? Does this change the tuning of the box? Thanks

I have a 2002 Acura TL and I'll only be running about 600 watts total once I get a new sub up and running. I don't have a wire gauge but I checked all the wires used in the Big 3 and they look pretty fat, obviously not 1/0 gauge but still pretty big. I do have a voltage meter and everything...

Should I even buy a wire crimper to do the Big 3? I don't own one and I don't want to mess things up by crimping through a more ghetto way like a table vice.

I know the IDQ line is primarily a SQ sub, but would it be possible to use a ported box so that there is some SPL? I'd buy another sub more suited to my purposes but the IDQ looks best for the money right now. Thanks Elliot

Hmm, I just don't think I have to money to do the SE, especially since theres no RE dealer close to me. Sounddomain is sellin IDQs for 140+ship so approx 150 versus 300ish for the SE so I think I might go with the IDQ just because of monetary issues. Otherwise I'd look towards a RL-p or...

How about in 1.5 ft^3 ported to 34 Hz? Also, I only plan on giving the sub 5-600w probably and def not more than 800w. So would it even matter that the SE can handle more power? I think the IDQ12" Dual4 is rated at 89.9 sensitivity while the SE is 86.1 or something. Wouldn't that mean that...
