You'll have to cut the doors, and put lots of sound deadening material as those trucks just had pure sheet metal. a slim sub can easily fit in back.

I've already glued them together. I think it had to do with UPS. When I opened the box, the speaker with brokent terminal holder was kind of out of place. The factory packaging from Crystal is not the best. I will install them tomorrow and see how they sound. I'm sure they will be fine.

I just got these speakers today as well and on one of them the plastic thing that holds the terminals was broken on both sides. These better sound as good as people make them out to be. I'm downgrading from JL Audio XR's to these. Got a sweet deal on my new truck that I didnt even have time...

I picked up a set of JL XR650's for 220.00 on ebay brand new and I must say they rape the old PG Xenon comps I had and the Typ R comps I heard. The PG's cant even touch them in terms of clarity and mid range.

I would not put them in doors. Thats a n00b idea because doors are exposed to so much crap. There not even close to being that sealed which is why they have drain holes on the bottom. Not only that, but the shock too, doors opening and closing will take its toll on them.

Like stated, with my good setup I can really hear the difference between ripped and original. With a factory radio you wont notice. But I'm just going to start hitting up ebay for all my music in original form..

It's called having a budget. Car Audio isnt the number 1 priority to some on here.

The way I see it is there is only so much technology that can go into mid range speakers. Its just sad that people pay for a name instead. Infinity, Mb Quart, JL, Alpine, etc are all big name speaker mfg. and so they can rip people off with their speakers that are probably the same design and...
