Best comps for metal/rock >$200

And what does that have to do with speakers.?? A coxial is pretty much a mid bass with a tweeter so how is it so different.
ive never heard a coaxial sound anywhere close to a comp set

in any way

edit:and if thats true why doesnt everyone run coaxes instead?

the position of the tweet...
Actually the point to my original post was that once you get so loud you're not going to reap the benefits of a nice comp set anyway because your ears will no longer be able to distinguish the difference.

so do you run coaxes?

i mean seriously i would rather have a set of comps playing at 60/80 on my radio than a pair of coaxes at the same level. most coaxes cant take near as much power and serisouy at any volume have way less midbass

No, of course I don't run coaxials nor do I recommend them to anyone. What I said was if you're listening to METAL at loud levels then it wouldn't make much of a difference in sound between comps and coaxials because once your music is sooooo loud you can't hear the difference between the 2 types of speakers. In other words, the finer details that comps bring out in the music at low to moderate sound levels would not be nearly as evident at LOUD levels.

Roll your eyes all you want, I was just giving my opinion.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif It's not my fault you've misunderstood me the whole thread.

....so what happens IF you do go over $200... Does your head explode? Does your mom blow your dads head off with a shotgun and then finish herself off? Does a whole clan of wolf spiders crawl out of your ***?
What's the deal. I don't get it.
It's called having a budget. Car Audio isnt the number 1 priority to some on here.
