i use the l3 and love it. Very nice sound for a midrange. Easy to install and not a whole lot of "requirements" to make it work.

they don't go very low if not in a sealed pod. they are very musically inclined but lack the low midbass like some like. I've been reconsidering getting them again as the midbass driver in my 3way setup but i think i might be disappointed in the midbass compared to the CDT M6. its tempting...

you will be fine running 300rms to them. The ES Gold use the 560i crossover which can handle that amount of power. I would cross them over at 100hz or 80hz if you can put a steep slope on it. But if you're running a good amount of power to them, make sure your doors are properly deadened.

iirc the CDT's crossover points are at 2.5khz. As for woofersetc.com sets, the Cl60 uses the Cl-6 convertible midrange which you can make into a coax configuration, it also uses the entry level satnet-400 crossover, which if that is what you go than there might be the issue. Those satnet 400...

i assume those are the CL-60 set? Well get rid of the crossover that is with them. The crossover isn't that good with them, also putting 300rms even at low gain isn't good for them when you crank it up. just run them off of channels 1 and 2 at 40hm and you'll be fine. People do overpower...

any of the 6+ drivers will do quite well but you will need to make pods to make them work best. And they do love power. I like them alot but definitely needs to be in a 3way setup and I prefer to have them run active so you can adjust the slopes and crossover point on them to your liking. Pm...
