    Pioneer DEH-80PRS

I'd be all over this if I didn't have the Kenwood Nav unit already...

Your favorite head unit of all time O.o

    PRS880 was my favorite...

I hear a lot about the pioneer PRS 880..

Time alignment is the only auto feature I used. Even that, I slightly adjusted.

I hear a lot about the pioneer PRS 880..

I bought one when it came out, and used it for several years. Crisp and clean while being feature packed, I really loved that entire system. It was a great unit, and I really miss it. (To the **** that stole it, I hope it makes your ears bleed!)

Kenwood DNX6980 or Pioneer AVIC Z130BT?

The price diff is definitely present... to that end I say go for the z130 due to its better feature set not the least of which is screen size.

Kenwood DNX6980 or Pioneer AVIC Z130BT?

Generally, if you treasure your ipod control more go Pioneer. If you need GPS and hands free/voice control most go with Kenwood. I think you're comparing apples and oranges though, the Z130 would be best compared to the 9980HD, no? For the same money, I'd take the Z130 and muddle through with...

    Which Double-Din for new ride?

I have the current Kenwood DNX9980HD, and it's been OK... The sluggishness continues. I upgraded to the 9980HD from the 9960, the only two Kenwood decks I've ever owned. For nearly $2000 one would certainly expect more. /rant What I like about them is that they combine great SQ, Garmin GPS, and...

What should I add to my front stage?

Once amplified the Pioneers will give you a lot more output. Considering your HU is likely giving you less that 25 W. I would advise adding an amp, because those Pioneers are well regarded by those that are amping them.

    Kicker 750 watt amp...versions?

I had the kx700.5 from 2004, and it was a stellar amp. It was stolen from my truck last year, otherwise I'd still have it. I would recommend it without any reservation. I bought the amp on ebay and got a decent deal on it. I actually went with a single JL sub, because it was available locally...

    All inclusive Double Din unit

Everything in your list with the exception of satellite radio is included in the Kenwood DNX-9980HD. It costs a pretty penny, but there is a 300 dollar rebate going on now. With regard to USB capacity, I can't remember how many levels deep you can go, but you have to limit the files in folders...

    Polk db6501 - better set for $100?

Same thing for the Polks, I crossed mine at 50Hz, and I gave them about 80 rms. I didn't deaden the doors, but they were in an Infiniti SUV which had a bit more than the standard deadening of none luxury cars. I would go with the Polks purely, because of my past experiences... I haven't heard...

    Polk db6501 - better set for $100?

I loved the ones in my signature! I would take the Polks over any in your post. The power they got is also in the sig for reference. EDIT: When I bought my Polks they were considerably more than a $100. Gauging from the comments it would appear that you can't go wrong with the Pioneers...

What's available that is between eclipse cd5000 and pioneer dex-p99r?

If my Pioneer DEH-P880PRS had not been stolen... I'd be using it today. Great HU IMO, if you can find one jump on it.

Advice on Double DIN SQ headunit

I bought the Kenwood DNX9960 for $979 (authorized dealer, closeout price), I know you can get them cheaper from Amazon/Ebay. It had EVERYTHING you could want in one package. Garmin Nav, Parrot BT, and Kenwood audio all in one unit. The issue was/is a slow processor and/or low cache/memory caused...
