I do think Trump's influence has a good chance of increasing OPEC output or at least making sure they maintain a production level that keeps gas ~$3/gal in the US. Ultimately it is unrealistic to think we'll import less energy. Last I checked we were a next exporter or petro products (iirc).

Again, oil and petrol are not the only sources of energy to be imported or exported.

Tell me more about "when we are importing less energy". What is Trump going to do in order to produce more energy here? Drilling leases went UP under Biden.

Or do you think he will halt importing oil?

As for "more manufacturing here", employment in the mfg sector dropped while he was POTUS, with the decline starting well before the pandemic. Mfg jobs increase under Biden and are higher now than they ever were under Trump.
What makes you confident he's going to create manufacturing jobs THIS time around?
