I bought a Audiopipe amp and when I wired it up to my vehicle it started smoking I took it apart I have no idea what I'm looking at hopefully somebody here can help me. I took the little panel off after seeing the obvious scortched part. Can this be fixed or what's up.

To be honest the best place for amplifier “repair help” is:

it’s not a car audio forum, but go to the small car audio section I linked to. If you can’t fix an amp with the help there, probably not going to be able to. That forum is just 99.9% car amp repair help.

I’m sure that amp is fixable, it more so comes down to “is it worth it”, or can you do it yourself cheap enough to make it worth it. If you spend money on parts, try to fix it, you missed some bad resistors or drivers, etc, you might fry the new parts and be out even more money. Amp repair is often times fairly straightforward, but sometimes it isn’t and occasionally a repair becomes much more difficult.

Lastly, Audiopipe 1000 I’d consider just sell online for “parts or repair” and use the recouped money towards something else. Could probably find a used working one of those fairly cheap, so dumping money into a diy repair which may not end well, may not not be worth it.

Amp repair is often times fairly straightforward, but sometimes it isn’t and occasionally a repair becomes much more difficult.

When I was young I used to repair amplifiers and flip or trade them. Then they started coming out with daughter boards an ICs that would burn out without obvious damage. That was the end of that hobby.
