The comparison was supernovas to manmade radiation. I'm questioning why make that comparison, when a regular sun is already putting out way more radiation than all the radiation we could output if we tried. Just seems like a weird comparison.

Since it's such a coveted ability, we should celebrate the fact that technology may make interdimensional travel a reality for the the masses.

I don't necessarily trust them with our money. And I don't think the problem lies solely with politicians. The Boomers & Gen X have left behind a massive debt for for future generations to deal with in addition to other crappy policies at both the Federal & state/local levels.

This amounts to intergenerational wealth transfer, which is evil considering we're stealing from people that can't vote or haven't even been born all so we can accumulate wealth & avoid taxation. Therefore, I'm reluctant to stand on a soap box and cry and whine about taxes.

IMHO, the voters in both parties refuse to hold our representatives/parties responsible for their actions. Ie Pelosi will get re-elected until she dies even though we all know she's insider trading (as do most of them). The DNC dares to nominate Sleepy Joe. The RNC, gives us Trump - a billionaire that doesn't pay taxes (like most billionaires) and doesn't respect legitimate elections. The right re-elected a bunch of lawyers that prevented witnesses from testifying at a trial. Is it any wonder our politicians do whatever the F they want; the voters literally tell them there no consequences to their actions.

I can understand where you are coming from. I'm guessing we have different thoughts due to where we live.

As for billionaires and millionaires, none of them pay the right amount of taxes. Heck, the Clintons were writing off their socks. Just remember, Trump was the ONLY president, in decades, who left office with less money than before he started his presidency. Over $500,000,000 less. Why don't people think about that?

I will ask one thing, though, please don't use the excuse "Trump is an election denier" as a dig. I makes you sound like a liberal puppet, and I know you're not. Just about every losing politician claimed their election was not legit. When Trump won, every fricking liberal cried about it being rigged and started numerous riots. Even the left leaning media got on board.

I'm not telling you what you meant. Did you read the article you posted, especially the part about super novae??? Did you read my post? I didn't ask you why you made the comparison, I asked why THEY (the writer/publisher) made that comparison.

I don't really believe in ancient Egyptian mythology, so I'll pass. Didn't you make a trip to the alternate dimension? Wasn't it advanced medical technology that allowed you "cheat" death? So what's the problem with technology? I thought it was our morals/behavior that determined where we go when our time on this planet is done.

I'd say what happened after Trump's election falls more in the "protest" category, especially when compared to what happened after Biden won. What Trump did is far beyond any election denying in the past. Trump made election denying the main plank of the GOP platform - it was the only plank in the platform until recently.

Or technology could be the key to all sorts of higher levels of being. Maybe purely organic existence is what keeps people tethered to "lower dimensions." What about people with insulin pumps, heart monitors, pace makers, artificial knees & hips, screws, rods, plates, nerve stimulators, wiring, etc, etc, etc. Are those folks destined for hell? What about people like Steven Hawking who basically required technology to function? What about society in general, which certainly descend into chaos tomorrow if somebody magically turned off the technology switch? Should I trade in my Ridgeline for a horse?
