They do have say via the representatives they elect. There is a reason the founding fathers settled on a representative republic vs a direct democracy. I don't know how far back you went in the thread, but the Californicators that moved to Colorado voted to lock in budgets because it's easy to sell measures that prevent cuts in education, police, etc. It's also easy to sell tax cuts as a ballot measure. Let the people who we elect do the job they were elected to do.

We all scream, including you, how corrupt our government is, on both sides. Why would we trust any of them to spend our money honestly? Sure, I might trust them on some certain occasions, but not with my money.

We all scream, including you, how corrupt our government is, on both sides. Why would we trust any of them to spend our money honestly? Sure, I might trust them on some certain occasions, but not with my money.

I don't necessarily trust them with our money. And I don't think the problem lies solely with politicians. The Boomers & Gen X have left behind a massive debt for for future generations to deal with in addition to other crappy policies at both the Federal & state/local levels.

This amounts to intergenerational wealth transfer, which is evil considering we're stealing from people that can't vote or haven't even been born all so we can accumulate wealth & avoid taxation. Therefore, I'm reluctant to stand on a soap box and cry and whine about taxes.

IMHO, the voters in both parties refuse to hold our representatives/parties responsible for their actions. Ie Pelosi will get re-elected until she dies even though we all know she's insider trading (as do most of them). The DNC dares to nominate Sleepy Joe. The RNC, gives us Trump - a billionaire that doesn't pay taxes (like most billionaires) and doesn't respect legitimate elections. The right re-elected a bunch of lawyers that prevented witnesses from testifying at a trial. Is it any wonder our politicians do whatever the F they want; the voters literally tell them there no consequences to their actions.

Sounds like great potential. Perhaps this exponential increase in brain power will let humans explore other dimensions.

This has nothing to do with what I said. It's energy density, like how cern concentrates energy and creates black holes. Not about total energy, it's about too much energy per second per volume, where the wave speed is too slow to dissipate energy quickly enough to avoid black hole(s).

This has nothing to do with what I said. It's energy density, like how cern concentrates energy and creates black holes. Not about total energy, it's about too much energy per second per volume, where the wave speed is too slow to dissipate energy quickly enough to avoid black hole(s).

The comparison was supernovas to manmade radiation. I'm questioning why make that comparison, when a regular sun is already putting out way more radiation than all the radiation we could output if we tried. Just seems like a weird comparison.

Some people already have this ability and have it without additional technology.

Since it's such a coveted ability, we should celebrate the fact that technology may make interdimensional travel a reality for the the masses.
