"AI tools will change how judges do their jobs and how they understand “the role that AI plays in the cases that come before them,” Roberts said in his end-of-year report. The remarks are a response to this year’s AI frenzy that swept the nation and financial markets, which has already started to alter how lawyers and judges approach their work."

So if 100% of Biden voters voted for Biden and Biden's overall approval rating is literally 34%, does that mean 66% of his own people now know how full of it he is?
No. You’re discounting that it’s an “overall” rating.
With the country split roughly in half politically, you can assume the approval percentage will double when you remove the Republican opinion.
That means his approval rating among Democrats is probably closer to 68%.

Oh I don't know about that. That seems like wishful thinking to me at this point. I would say that out of 100% of all voters he is @ 34%. I don't think Democrats under 55 approve of him at all.

I was just following the math you were throwing.
Are you saying that the people polled were only Democrats, or that the poll was skewed to not be accurate?
I thought “overall” ratings were supposed to reflect the country “overall”.

It is pretty well known that Republicans didn't vote for Biden right? So right there that puts Biden in the 50% range overall wouldn't you agree? So if he is at 34% overall what does that tell you?

I think you might be conflating numbers.
If 100% of votes are split down the middle, then you get a 50% “approval rating” for either side.

If you now poll only one side (Democrats for example), you’re likely to get a very low approval rating for the Republican.

That would not be an accurate “overall” rating though, as we already know the original “approval” was 50%, and the poll was skewed to not have an equal sampling of voters.

If the overall approval rating you describe for Joe is actually 34%, and the poll is divided evenly among red & blue respondents, then you can extrapolate that among blue respondents only, the approval will be closer to 68%.

At the close of his presidency, Trump was at 34%. So we can extrapolate that his party approval was similarly at 68%.
Kind of a “neck and neck” situation between them.

No. 100% of Republicans don't approve of him and out of the remaining 100% of Democrats only 34% approve of him.

That would be a 17% overall approval rating, which we know is incorrect.

So by your numbers, he is at 68% approval in the demographic.
Same as Trump was.

Now the question is: does that mean their demo did or did not approve of them when polled?

No. He is at 34% overall. 34% is not 68% is it? It's a totally different number isn't it? 34% is not my number. It is the number provided to America. Biden is out.

You’re not catching the math.
And remember, you tried to convert a 34% rating specifically into what the Democrats thought of Biden.

Let’s assume “overall” is 100 people.
34% approval means 34 people out of 100 people.
Stats tell us that of the 100 polled, 50 will be Repub, 50 will be Dem, to be a fair and accurate poll.

Since we know the 50 Repubs have likely automatically not approved, we can count them out.
We are now left with 50 Democrats, and still have the 34 who approve.
34/50=.68 .68=68%

So, ~68% of Dems approve of Biden, just like ~68% of Repubs approved of Trump.
And they both had an overall rating of 34%

Again the question is: Does that mean they both **** or they both are good?
