Really? Sidestepping? Is that what you are are throwing out there? I asked questions, you went on a rant but somehow I am sidestepping.
Yes, sidestepping. As you have done before, you post a rhetorical question. When you get proved wrong and play the "I was asking questions" card. The drawback is that if you were really "asking questions" and didn't know the answer, then you shouldn't be arguing the topic in the first place.
So which is it: Were the questions rhetorical, or genuine?
Well genius, Biden is President. You going to blame Trump for Biden's presidency?
We could certainly credit Trump for Biden's presidency. The country decided Trump didn't cut the mustard, and voted him out. The country may decide in the next election that Biden isn't cutting the mustard and vote HIM out. If so, then we can blame Biden for whoever we get as out next POTUS. It's happened plenty in history.
🖕

Not one time did I say businesses were locked down, closed, etc. due to recession you shitty, liberal, spin doctor. Back to your normal goal Rob? Lie, make false claims again?
Excellent job illustrating you have no idea how the various aspects of the economy are all intertwined.
Seriously, you are trying to educate us????? You can't even comprehend what I said let alone grasp the economy.
I comprehend just fine. The problem is that you talk out of both sides of your mouth and contradict the hell out of yourself.
Pick a lane.
You practice this alot don't you? A person ask you a question, you have no answers, you try to spin your way out.
This is an admittance that you do not know the answers to the questions you asked.
Without knowing the answers to your basic questions, you should not be arguing the topic at all. You're the guy who wants to build a racecar, but doesn't know what a transmission is.
You have a relaxed brain and it's obvious.
My brain could be halved and still be more useful than yours.
Not that you will comprehend but here it goes. You blame TRUMP for a recession and how bad the economy was at the end of his presidency. Literally, you blamed TRUMP. You make NO mention of the reason, that being COVID. You'd rather just blame Trump because that is what you have been told to do. Lockdowns due to COVID, Job loss due to COVID, businesses closing due to COVID. Tell me how Trump did that.
It's called being consistent. If you want to blame Biden for post-recession inflation that started under Trump, then by default we must blame Trump for the recession and the inflation that started while he was president.
You can't have it both ways.
If we are going to pin it on COVID during Trump, then we pin it on COVID during Biden. If you want to blame Biden, then we must also blame Trump.
So, do you want to blame Biden, or not?
No, you are always looking for an argument so you make damn sure you have one no matter what.
How many times have I said this (or similar)? "If you don't like being called out on your bullshit, then don't post bullshit in the first place."
You have a bad habit of making comments that you don't understand directly, nor do you understand the underlying basis for them. Then you whine like a child when you get challenged.
Tough shit, kid.
Hate the game? Quit the game.
I am not interested in changing topics with you. I am not interested in one way conversation with you. I am not interested in listening to you say everyone is wrong except you.
"Changing topics"? You think the questions below are "changing topics" when discussing your belief that Biden is causing and advancing the inflation that started under Trump? FFS, I even use the word "inflation" several times in the list.
Or is it that you are just entirely ill-equipped and unable to support your beliefs about how the economy works?

"So let's start with the basics. I am looking for an actual response to these questions:
Do you think the government controls the economy, or that we are a free market economy?
What policies do you think Biden should implement to stop inflation?
What do you think Biden could have done to stop or curb the worldwide inflation that began late in Trump's presidency?
Do you think Biden is encouraging inflation? If so, for what benefit?
Do you think supply and demand are what drive prices in the market, or are they controlled by a special group of politicians who (as a group) decide what we will pay for the goods we buy on a daily basis?"

All this because you couldn't answer simple questions. Now you will try to bury that under all these pointless responses. You're a joke.

Economic collapse huh... then explain the dropping unemployment rate under Trump, explain the continuing job growth under Trump and explain the continuing real median household income rise that was also under Trump.
For the record, this is where it started. All I asked was for Rob to explain these three things under Trump. You all can see how this far left liberal has lost his mind at the audacity of me challenging him.

They were explained in the next post I made, when I told you that there were fewer jobs in the country when Trump left office than when he started.
That simple fact covers all three things you asked about. here is the proof that I did it:

It seems that your far-right Conservative Trump-loving mind simply doesn't want to hear anything factual that might portray Trump in a bad light, and so you go off on childish rants in a zig-zag pattern to avoid the truth.

In the above quote, you try to infer that there was no economic collapse under Trump by pointing out unemployment rates, job growth, and real median income. The big problem is that those things were all worse when he left office. Yet you somehow want to blame Biden for the state of the economy.
Is that because of your far-right Conservative Trump-loving mind, or because you simply did not KNOW that the economy tanked when Trump was still in office?

Here are some factual stats. I await your response that suggests they are faked by the Democrats in order to make Trump look bad.

  • "The economy lost 2.9 million jobs. The unemployment rate increased by 1.6 percentage points to 6.3%.
  • Paychecks grew faster than inflation. Average weekly earnings for all workers were up 8.7% after inflation.
  • After-tax corporate profits went up, and the stock market set new records. The S&P 500 index rose 67.8%.
  • The international trade deficit Trump promised to reduce went up. The U.S. trade deficit in goods and services in 2020 was the highest since 2008 and increased 40.5% from 2016.
  • The number of people lacking health insurance rose by 3 million.
  • The federal debt held by the public went up, from $14.4 trillion to $21.6 trillion.
  • Home prices rose 27.5%, and the homeownership rate increased 2.1 percentage points to 65.8%.
  • Illegal immigration increased. Apprehensions at the Southwest border rose 14.7% last year compared with 2016.
  • Coal production declined 26.5%, and coal-mining jobs dropped by 16.7%. Carbon emissions from energy consumption dropped 11.5%.
  • The murder rate last year rose to the highest level since 1997.
Employment — A record eight years and four months of monthly job gains — dating to October 2010 — ended February 2019, roughly a year before the pandemic. The U.S. lost 50,000 jobs that month. The U.S. would go on to add 2 million jobs in 2019, but that was the lowest annual growth since 2010.

Unemployment — As a candidate, Trump frequently criticized the monthly unemployment rates as “phony numbers.” But as president, Trump immediately began to take credit for driving down the unemployment rate, which at 4.7% was already close to full employment when he took office in January 2017. Two months into Trump’s term, then-White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer joked about his boss’s change of heart: “I talked to the president prior to this, and he said to quote him very clearly — ‘They may have been phony in the past, but it’s very real now.’”

Economic Growth
Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. economy began slowing down. The real (inflation-adjusted) gross domestic product went up in Trump’s first two years, peaking at an estimated 2.9% in 2018 — the highest since 2005. But the economy grew only 2.3% in 2019 and the bottom fell out in 2020.
The real GDP declined 3.4% in 2020 from the previous year. It was the largest drop since 1947, when the nation’s economy declined 11.6% after years of economic expansion fueled by World War II.

You didn't explain or answer jack shit. You made statements. Now, go get some lip gloss and start your day job.

Show your explanation.
It’s in the quoted post. The fact that there were less jobs when he left office then when he entered, office explains away the three points you tried to cover. Those three points, being unemployment, job growth, real wage increases.

A net loss of jobs means, unemployment, increased, job, growth, decreased, real wages, went down.

You aren't giving an explanation retard. You are countering what I asked you to explain by asking me to explain shit. Loser.

That I am even able to ask you to explain the FACT that there were less jobs when Trump left office than when he started tells us your claims of better unemployment rates, better job growth, and better real income are incorrect in describing his presidency.

It’s like saying Enron was a great performer, while failing to mention what really happened to it in the big picture.

That simple fact covers all three “gotchas” you thought you had discovered.

So you lack the capacity to explain any of the 3 things I asked you to explain. Got it.

Have to admit at first I thought exporting migrants to blue cities/states was a pretty shytty move, but it seems to be working. Perhaps the DNC will finally acknowledge that we can't just keep the border open.

Are borders are wide open....ISIS never really went away, or more so what have they evolved into... think about that, just a matter of time its coming

SOCOM, wow👁

“Annnd… Here we go. If you have not read the background {Go Deep}, you will not have the appropriate context to absorb the latest revelation about how the Dept of Defense will now conduct online monitoring operations, using enhanced AI to protect the U.S. internet from “disinformation” under the auspices of national security.”

The US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) has contracted New York-based Accrete AI to deploy software that detects “real time” disinformation threats on social media….“USSOCOM is at the tip of the spear in recognizing the critical need to identify and analytically predict social media narratives at an embryonic stage before those narratives evolve and gain traction. Accrete is proud to support USSOCOM’s mission.””

Providing this protection requires AI that can automatically “learn” what is most important to an enterprise and predict the likely social media narratives that will emerge before they influence behavior.”
