I saw that earlier - f'n crazy. 21st century trench warfare. Crazy thing is it looks like the Russians are incapable of defending their trenches, so it's either a slow painful retreat, a full out retreat or escalation (to tactical nukes?).

Actually, more accurately it was incomplete definition of tautology, no intent. A more complete definition would be repeating the same thing using different words within your own sentence/paragraph or repeating yourself using different word. Ironically one of common faults in my writing.

the saying of the same thing twice in different words, generally considered to be a fault of style (e.g., they arrived one after the other in succession ).

They're just really upset and I guess it makes them feel better if they "go on the offensive." It's pure insanity, the tough guy, pretend soldier, gun owner, uber patriot conservatives feel better about life by putting down the some of the weakest and most vulnerable people among us, threatening designers and random Target retail employees, etc. And they're too stupid to realize how stupid and cowardly they are actually are; no wonder they're afraid to give up their AR's.
