Baby steps, baby steps.... I do feel for the guy having the carpet pulled out from under him. Seems to me the trangender community would be better off following the advice to create "open/genderless" divisions in sports rather than continuing to try and fit a square peg into a round hole.

Yet that is what you are doing. Arguing your feelings. You have no evidence in the Trump case, just the outcome and you FEEL it was the correct outcome but have no evidence to support that feeling.
I don’t FEEL it was the correct outcome, I KNOW it was the correct outcome. The jury did the job that was assigned to them This is how our justice system works: the jury acts as the representatives of the US citizens since ALL citizens can’t be on the jury for every case.
I have plenty of evidence. It’s called the hearing and the decision that resulted from the hearing.

Your post infers that you think the jury got it wrong.
Do you think they did? If so, what is your basis of this feeling?
Do you think all juries get it wrong? Do you think the jury system is an improper way for cases to be judged?

So you are inferring that their job was to return a guilty verdict. Got it.

Don't try to twist this conversation. I inferred nothing nor did I give my thoughts on the verdict. I have no evidence to do so.

Now, on the other hand, it will always be my opinion that a guilty verdict based on "because I said it happened" will always be an unjust verdict. I am surprised at how flexible you are with your standards. How many times have you given me shit and you used the phrase "because Thxone says so" and have said that is not how things work. I guess they work just fine if it is against Trump huh? Your hypocrisy and bias are showing Rob.

So a jury is infallible?

It’s estimated that 5-6% of people incarcerated are actually innocent. Among wrongful convictions the top 3 cases are for murder, ****** assault, and drugs. 72% of the time it’s due to eyewitness testimony. When you have witnesses, especially so called witnesses who didn’t even witness it, I think it’s probably way higher.

So you are inferring that their job was to return a guilty verdict. Got it.
There is no such inference there at all, except maybe in your mind.
Their job is to hear testimony and reach A VERDICT.
They did their job.
Are you suggesting no verdict was reached?
Don't try to twist this conversation. I inferred nothing nor did I give my thoughts on the verdict. I have no evidence to do so.
Then why would you claim I only FEEL it was a correct decision? That suggests you think the decision is wrong.
If you aren’t making a claim to the accuracy of the verdict, you can’t say whether my statement is feelings or fact.

Once again, you are saying the court system and the way hurt cases work have been incorrect for centuries.
Yes, it’s your feelings. What is the basis for these feelings? Purely something in your gut?

You and Spokey are similarly confused. I’ll say it again, but I can’t really make it any more clear or simplify it further: i’m not a judge. I’m not a jury. I didn’t establish the US court system. I didn’t write the US Constitution. My decisions don’t have to follow the methods used by the courts. I get to decide whether I’m going to believe something or not.
When somethings strikes me as being bullshit, I am more than happy to not believe it and to ask somebody to back it up with facts or evidence. Many things that you post here strike me as being pure bullshit, so I ask you for proof or evidence to back up what you’re saying. Interestingly, you never provide those facts or evidence. Maybe if you could, I’d be more inclined to believe other things you say without considering them to be bullshit.

Rob, pay attention. I am SAYING because there is no evidence that you have you are accepting the jury's decision based on your FEELINGS. That is the only thing you got here Rob. You have no proof of Trumps guilt.
Then why would you claim I only FEEL it was a correct decision? That suggests you think the decision is wrong.
Because you have no proof, have read no proof, have seen no proof. All you can do is go with your gut there fella. Your feelings about Trump are biased so you will let your feelings accept the jury's decision without facts and without proof.

Listen guy, you are so full of shit here. You use one standard when arguing with everyone then another when it comes to matters of Trump. Move on already.

Incorrect, as usual. I accept the jury’s decision because our court system is set up to have a jury as a proxy for all citizens. A jury gets picked by the prosecution and the defense, and is tasked with making the decision in the case. We as a country except trial by jury as a way to handle cases like this, and many others.

Is this new information to you? I think many of the basics we are talking about were taught in grade school social studies.

Not going with my gut at all. I fully believe that a trial happened, and that the jury reached a verdict. I think if that were not true, Trump would be shouting from the rooftops.
I also believe verdicts are reached in thousands of cases per year, and that the juries did the job they were selected to do in those cases too.
Do you think all jury decisions are incorrect, or just this one because it was not in Trump’s favor?

Try reading my words next time. I GET TO CHOOSE WHETHER I AM GOING TO BELIEVE SOMETHING OR NOT, AND I GET TO CHOOSE WHETHER I BELIEVE TESTIMONY (such as your testimony that there are no nerves in bones) OR WHETHER I WANT HARD EVIDENCE TO BACK UP THE TESTIMONY.

“Move on already”. Does that mean you as Thunderdome overlord have decided for all members here that the Trump conversation is over, or will you allow others to speak their mind if they so wish?
