No politicians blame the gun constantly...
Some do. I've never heard Mitch McConnell blame a gun. I can't think of a single republican who has ever blamed a gun. I've watched for ~3 decades as the GOP has done everything they could to increase access to guns and for the most part the Dems talk a big game and never deliver.

They may blame it publicly but they sure vote like they do

With the best estimate currently at 465 million firearms in the United States, you can ban AR15’s heck even handguns too and nothing will change. The only way a gun on its own can kill someone is by malfunction, a person is required to aim and pull the trigger. It’s a takes a pretty sick person to take a life. Really think about that, a gun has nothing to do with that, what drives a person to kill another person? Is it mental health, stress, anxiety, depression, or? Figuring that part out is how you solve the problem. You can ban whatever you want but you won’t get rid of the 465 million guns already in the hands of people. Go back a few decades and this problem wasn’t nearly as bad as it is today and guns were everywhere then just like today. Something has changed but isn’t the guns 🤷🏼‍♂️.

Say what? The only meaningful gun control I've seen in 30 years is Trump’s bumpstock ban, which required no votes.
Watch the votes counts...R's vote for gun control when they're outside the election cycle...there's no real difference between the parties anymore...

We were talking about the Trump case. Didn’t realize you were just throwing random info out that had nothing to do with the topic.
Maybe that’s why you think no one has conversations with you? Conversation usually centers around a topic
No I wasn't. I was talking about convicting someone with proof not feelings. Not once did I care to talk about Trump.
What kind of case did you get summoned for?
A **** case.
So you are just here slinging shit not speaking truths. Fair enough, but weird when you try to infer other people have no morals or ethics.
Dishonesty is not really moral or ethical.
It is actually.
The topic is still court cases, focused on Trump’s. You seem to get lost in discussion once it goes beyond personal opinions and into the territory of facts.
You were talking about Trump after you couldn't discount my opinions. It's fine.

The number of guns in private hands has increased 450% in the past 50 years and is accelerating. Maybe when a society irresponsibly pumps 100s of millions of firearms into society we shouldn't be shocked when a bunch of those firearms end up in the hands of the irresponsible, insane, psychotic, etc.

Why wasn't all these problems prevalent in the '80s when I was a kid?...there was an astronomical number of guns in circulation and easier access to purchasing...

Yeah, just texted my daughter that you run rather "barricade" in the classroom. You don't hide in the back of the classroom (as the school instructs) but attack the shooter when they enter the room. Yeah guns!

Maybe we should be looking at the media for "glorifying" shooters by putting their name up in lights and the increase in tech in our daily lives...there have been countless studies showing the harm social media has on developing minds...but yet it's the fault of an inanimate object...

They know the easiest way of eroding the 2a is to make ppl eligible to obtain them. Such as red flag laws, hate crime/speech, online monitoring. Taxation and registration accessories, CCW insurance, no castle law, tie you in the court system for years with attorney fees.

Pretty sure as soon as humans learned to sharpen a stick...somebody started attacking other people with a pointy stick 🤣

Humans are inherently not peaceful as a species...
