A terminal is an output. They are one in the same. Hence "Output Terminal"
Even the SIA line says below them "Speaker Outputs" and in specifications 1 Channel.
The nomenclature used by amplifier manufacturers, the people who designed and built these amplifiers, have referred to these terminals as "multiple outputs" "multiple terminals" "output terminals" and such. Of course you are right though, we do know a mono amp is 1 final channel and sometimes will have multiple terminals for that channel.Anybody who has designed or repaired amplifiers would not consider multiple terminals to be multiple outputs. Clearly a mono amp has a single output, regardless of how many terminals it has.
You say that and yet I've seen a couple youtube videos from people who work in the industry who call them outputs as well. Not too mention the companies themselves but hey w/e I guess all those people who actually work in the industry are wrong. They call them terminals and outputs.
That’s not multiple outputs, you ignorant fool. It’s a terminal block that duplicates the same mono output.Seriously, stfu. You're stupid.
My MONO amplifier. Outputs A and B with Positive and Negative terminals for both outputs. Idiot.

Rob did not mention terminals in his quote.I did warranty repair for years.
Any jacka$$ can start a youtube channel, claim expertise in any industry and say whatever the fudge they want. That doesn't mean that mono amplifiers have multiple outputs. Multiple outputs would mean the amp ceased to be mono. Mono amps have multiple terminals not multiple outputs.
I'd like to see a credible amp company that claims their mono amps have multiple outputs.
Provide the proof. Show me where an audio circuit designer says a mono amp has multiple outputs from the amplifier stage.Doesn't matter what any of us say, it wouldn't matter if any car audio company owner or designer showed up and said exactly what all of us are saying. He would still say they are wrong no matter what.
I agree terminals aren't the same as outputs, but you're not going to convince me that's what rob meant. He said they're not wired internally, which means he didn't know the two sets of terminals are the same output.

It's just terminology. Many will use general or ambiguous terms just to simplify the meaning. We all should know what they mean and not necessarily take them literally. I know 100% that my mono amplifier has but one channel. ALL 4 of those terminals go inside the amplifier were the 2 positives are one and the 2 negatives are one. There is nothing wrong or incorrect in calling them outputs. They ARE outputs. They ARE terminals.I did warranty repair for years.
