For those that carry or carried, how much tactical training and how much mental training do you do or have you done?
Have you ever contemplated walking into a place where two people are faced off with guns (or only one has a gun), and not knowing which one is the good guy? They always say the best thing to do is be a good witness for when he cops arrive.
Easy to say, but how do you live with yourself if you could have prevented the killing of an innocent, or you kill the innocent instead of the bad guy?
Sounds like a common movie scene, but it really happens.
Ok, on to current events. So Biden is determined to "Ban ALL Assault Weapons". But says it not about taking away our guns. I say let these idiots do it on a trial basis. I will wager a years salary that it will not stop "gun violence". This is one of the stupidest ideas THIS government has had.

That list in that bill though... semi auto handguns? Anything that uses even partial gases from a fired round to eject a shell and load the next round. So, revolvers and low capacity bolt actions? That is what they are going to graciously allow us to have? How do you think this is going to sit with the majority of the country? This country of gun owners... the most in the world right? This is where I get ticked about details. Dumbasses don't even know what an "assault weapon" is.
I'd like to know the last time a full-auto weapon was used in a crime.
A rifle in a Halloween costume ain't an assault weapon.
What are the carriers here carrying?
My daily is an XDS in 9, I also have a P238 for deep conceal, a Beretta for wallet carry, Sig 1911 for range, and a Glock 22 in 40 for nightstand.
I think it will fall on its face. They go for over-the-top, and end up with a little, if that. But know this: they could cease production tomorrow, and there would still be 393,000,000 guns in the hands of Americans. That's more than one for every body in the country. That list in that bill though... semi auto handguns? Precisely the point. Almost 400,000,000 guns. So what is the real motivation? Votes? Most likely and if it is, isn't that enough to let people know the government doesn't really care about guns, they want votes and the easiest votes to get are from stupid people. The people they scared with their "Assault Weapons" "Bump Stocks" "Large Magazines" "School Shootings" propaganda. They aren't smart enough to see that the people who get targeted most of the time are unarmed. But they want to keep you unarmed and these people don't put two and two together. Criminals don't care about gun laws. But they want you to think they are doing this for you. How are you going to call the understaffed police for help as you are being shot by the criminal with the illegal gun........ if only you were allowed to own a gun yourself..... perhaps if you voted for the other guy, you would still be alive.I think it will fall on its face. Guns aren't going anywhere even if they outlawed them.
What we need to be afraid of is the people on the inside who screw things up. You know who we can thank for magazine capacity limits? A gun manufacturer. Who can we thank for the bumpstock ban? The guy who was supposed to eliminate the bullshit suppressor tax and licensing. And of course, there are the contradictory laws that get made by people without a clue (like the Kenosha law referenced in the Rittenhouse case that wholly contradicts itself).
That's the crap we have to worry about.
Yeah.... I know.Look at the list of who's allowed to purchase those banned guns in the bill...
Who said I wasn't respectful...and I'm not trying to be a tough guy...you just mad cause I exercise my rights?...or because I can afford an attorney if I need one?
my bad. . . here, ill add something

The rock is lying on the ground dropped by the first guy that hit him just few seconds before he falls.
I'm guessing Kyle is capable of dealing with scapes, cuts, washing pepper spray out of somebody's eyes; probably way over his head when it comes to gunshot wounds. TBH, I don’t know that I'd be to interested in administering first aid to guy that threatened to kill me if he caught me alone, then tried to make good on it.
It's odd that your standards for Rittenhose are so high, but you have yet to condemn Rosenbaum for setting off this powder keg. By all accounts Kyle was rendering first aid and putting out fires. OTOH, Rosenbaum was threatening to kill folks.
Probably 2 guys trying to do the right thing. IMHO, Rosenbaum and Huber are the bad guys.
