Trigger Man!
What a great post. At least it didn't contain bad math or English. Good job kid. Keep it short.

For those that carry or carried, how much tactical training and how much mental training do you do or have you done?
Have you ever contemplated walking into a place where two people are faced off with guns (or only one has a gun), and not knowing which one is the good guy? They always say the best thing to do is be a good witness for when he cops arrive.
Easy to say, but how do you live with yourself if you could have prevented the killing of an innocent, or you kill the innocent instead of the bad guy?
Sounds like a common movie scene, but it really happens.
Ok, on to current events. So Biden is determined to "Ban ALL Assault Weapons". But says it not about taking away our guns. I say let these idiots do it on a trial basis. I will wager a years salary that it will not stop "gun violence". This is one of the stupidest ideas THIS government has had.

When i worked for the Sheriff's Office I volunteered for a Self Defense Through Tactical Shooting and Decision-Making classes. It was basically taught in 4 parts.
- self-defense through mental preparedness.
- A legal team would come in to explain castle doctrine, self defense, and stand your ground laws.
-tactical shooting/weapon retention/firearms safety
-shoot dont shoot scenarios which is actually conducted on a projected simulator
I have also competed in IDPA, bench rifle shooting, run and gun, and 3 gun competitions in limited, tactical, and open class.
With that said... i do not feel anyone needs any of the training I have received to responsibly carry a gun for self-defense. I encourage it, but do not see it as a requirement.
I have tried to imagine every possible situation, but the truth is, there are too many variables to even imagine.
a lot of people have trouble living with themselves even after a justified self defense shooting. All I can say for sure is that i would be completely willing to take someone's life if i legitimately felt like that is the force necessary for my safety or someone else's.
I'm not bragging...I just don't get what your issue with how I deal with the police...I've had no problems with most of the cops I've dealt with...I'm not telling anybody else what they should do...I just stated what I do to protect myself from what i believe are unnecessary risks...Are you trying to brag because you can afford an attorney? You don't think anybody else can? I'm far from mad. Very distant from mad tbh.
Compare that bill to this bill...this one is a whole different animal...It's already been done before kid. Look it up.
What's the motive of any politician? To get votes to get in office to promote their agenda.Precisely the point. Almost 400,000,000 guns. So what is the real motivation? Votes? Most likely and if it is, isn't that enough to let people know the government doesn't really care about guns, they want votes and the easiest votes to get are from stupid people. The people they scared with their "Assault Weapons" "Bump Stocks" "Large Magazines" "School Shootings" propaganda. They aren't smart enough to see that the people who get targeted most of the time are unarmed. But they want to keep you unarmed and these people don't put two and two together. Criminals don't care about gun laws. But they want you to think they are doing this for you. How are you going to call the understaffed police for help as you are being shot by the criminal with the illegal gun........ if only you were allowed to own a gun yourself..... perhaps if you voted for the other guy, you would still be alive.
