Those are pretty basic EQ's, but yes they should be the same/better than the zapco.

How many speakers does the clarion 755 control? My system has 4 6x5(one in each door panel), 2 tweeters in the kick panel, 2 6x9, 2 12’ subs
Will it be able to control all those? Thanks for the input

Well, the EQ just sends an edited signal to your amps. It doesn't actually control speakers at all. If you are running a 4ch amp and a mono amp, you would technically need a 6ch capable EQ if you wanted to EQ the sub. However, you are running multiple different sized speakers per channel of your amp, so having an EQ won't be much benefit overall.

You would need to separate your speakers into groups. 6.5's on 2 channels, 6x9's on 2 channels, tweeters on 2 channels. You need more channels of amplification if you want to add an EQ and have it do anything productive.

What model kenwood? All I see is that it is a excelon and the numbers are blurry. I have a pair of factory refurbished Kenwood KDC-X998 excelons one has maybe 6 months of light use the other 2 years of light use and i think I have a new wiring harness as well. Might be willing to part with one. One was in my dad's explorer and got turned on maybe 10-15 times the other one in my jeep and explorer and in those 2.5 years I drove maybe 4500 miles so not a lot of use either.

I would toss that Cap and maybe add another battery instead. Not sure you have done the Big3 from your pics under the hood, but Id recommend it (0ga kit is less than $100 bucks OFC)
