Yes it is

I still have one, its a 2.5 v HU. A Preamp EQ would help to cleaner signal ( from 7v on up) and really help with overall of the system for much better listening results, and tuning in at your finger tips. I like to use one in all my systems

I used the ioxus super cap it did well with agm honestly but a cylinder versus a super cap is night and day.
