So what is the best way to fix that? Vote Democrat out of spite again so we can continue the inflation and run smack dab into a major recession or maybe even go to war?
As your buddy Rob would say... prices have been going up and the POTUS doesn't set gas prices. Blah Blah Blah. Prices for gas under Trump were WAY lower than they are now... gonna try to argue that?

Do you not understand supply/demand and OPEC cutting back production that was announced in April of 2020 when Trump was in office? And now Russia is trying to start a World War. Add all of those up and you will realize why gas prices are going up. Don't forget about the Arctic freeze that shut down a lot of refineries.

A Democrat just got us out of an unnecessary war in Afghanistan. We are not at war right now. A Democrat is standing up to a dictator in Putin. Meanwhile, a Republican is praising Putin and his actions. Whose side are you on? The allies that have stood with us or Trumps? You tell me.
Arctic Freezes don't shut down refineries. Where did you see that? Feb through 1st parts of April refineries shut down ONLY for turn-a-rounds. That means they shut down a small portion so they can replace/upgrade/maintain equipment and switch to summer blend. They spread it out so only a small portion is down at any given time. They do the same thing in Sept through 1st parts of Oct to switch to winter blend. They don't shut done for arctic freezes I can remember my dad going to work at the refinery in -20 degree weather all the time with wind chills -30 to -40 below zero F. That stuff is made to run regardless of outside temps.
Also if you think that Keystone pipeline oil was staying here you are wrong that was headed to China.
Edit: I see what you are talking about the Texas Storm. They shut them down so people didn't drive. The refineries themselves can run through that but personal safety is obviously more important. That was for a short time anyways. They were able to get back to the levels they were at before that relatively quickly.
