I don’t do online personal banking, which I stated in a post before.
That is my online trading account. It is with a bank. Thus a bank account. It can be liquidated in moments, just like you can cash a check or get cash from your account. The difference is this account can hold cash and securities. If I closed all my positions today, they would not close the account and send me money. They would hold the cash for me.
