More subs on the way to play with

Just ordered 4 of those audio legion 10s and a Savard 12 inch to test out and play with. I wish they had the audio legion model in a 12 or 15, but it doesn’t look like a bad little low power sub to make a quad box for. The Savard I’m excited about. Looks pretty good when modeling it. I only have 1400 rms amplifier though, so it looks like I’m in the market for a bigger amp to push the Savard hard so I can get a real feel for it. Hiding the money I spend from the girlfriend might be an issue, but I’ll cross that bridge when it gets here.

Wonder how they compare to the Javelin series?

I like the way these model over the javelin series. They have a little bigger motor, a little more xmax and a heavier cone. Lower QTS. I think I’m going to try all 4 of them sealed first and see how they do. Kind of a large sealed box at 1.1 cubes per sub with some polyfill I’m thinking.

I’ve never done a sealed setup in an SUV. Subs firing up and port back seems to be a popular way to fire a ported setup in an SUV. Should I fire the subs up in a sealed setup in an SUV? Right now I am ported with subs and port firing back against the rear hatch.

I’d fire them back. But it’ll be super easy just to flip the box up and test both ways.
