Heroes are remembered, but legends never die
Like the title says.... There is a guy local to me that has a Pride LP12. I can't find much on them at all so looking for thoughts on them from people who may know. Currently running 2 SA8s in a 6th order so it takes up a bit of room. Thinking about going 1 12 to pick up some of my space....

But yea throughs on pride audio lp12...

Thanks in advance

I'll believe it when I see it.
As for Pride
It's a Russian Company
They do not have the same standards for quality that we do
I don't really know much about the company but I wouldn't trust much that comes from there unless its Vodka

i tried to get pricing on a pair of 12s last year. i was referred to 2 guys that were said to be authorized. one wouldnt reply, and the other was in russia and there was a communication barrier, so i gave up

Lol the information I could find they seem to be good products. Especially the bigger subs. I'm not looking for bigger, just want small and efficient lol

Gotcha, I'm not dealing with ordering from them, seems like to much trouble. The guy has this one local

Considering our quality """standards""" are just ordering out of the catalog of JLD or some other Chinese sweatshop I'd say the quality should be on-par with whatever 90% of the other "brands" are doing. They claim they're made in Russia, but it is more likely just assembled in-house. I'd be most concerned about how well built their coils are. The best coils in the world are wound down in Florida, so anything else is definitely sacrificing there.

That said, not sure why you would buy Chinese cookie cutter products from Russia when there's a dozen brands right here selling the same stuff without the extra fuckery of having to ship them internationally twice.

I agree, if i had to order this from Russia then i would not even consider it, seems like its to much trouble for what its worth. But a guy has this one local to me(about 1hr and some change away). I was thinking of doing 1 15 but i feel like the box is going to be just as big as i have now though dim wise with the 2 8s in the 6th order. Im trying to reclaim some of my hatch space. I have "some" now but would like to have alittle more

Most company’s entry level subs won’t be very special, including this one. Not a good sub to run in a ported setup either. This sub will be a downgrade from what you currently have. My best friend is Russian, so he was always looking for Russian made subwoofers to run in his truck, even though most of the parts probably come from the same Chinese factory as any sub we buy here in America. Pride has some spl subs that don’t look horrible, but I wouldn’t recommend any of them for anyone’s daily music setup.

Looks like you could raise the back seat maybe 2 to 2-1/2" use longer seat bolts and washers and frame/mold in the under carriage cavity of that...
