How do you guys feel about the new NASCAR style? The new DCT, rear mounted ******, new symmetrical frame, full independent suspension, new aerodynamics, etc?

Nascar is definitely being modernized, but idk, feels like it's pushing out part of the NASCAR fan base. Like part of the joy of NASCAR is how fast these cars are with like how little high tech stuff they use, relative to other types of circuit racing.

I feel like NASCAR will now be more like watching autonomous vehicles race now. Like the cars may be too good, idk. I don't enjoy watching races, but I love studying the cars and all the motor tech and the physics-geometry of the vehicles.

Full injection is alright. Getting rid of the 4 speed? Idk, I don't think I personally like that. You can still have a rear mounted manual transmission, without having to use paddle shifters.

I absolutely love the Next Gen car. It's about time they updated. Love it. Super excited to see it next year. Nascar is 100 percent headed in the right direction from the new car to the new schedule.

I bet there's gonna be a lot of crashes, from what I understand. The cars' suspensions and the aerodynamics are completely flipped from the traditional car.

They run two completely different, actually opposite, aero and horsepower packages this year. These are some of the best drivers in the world. I believe their will be less crashes.

I think these drivers brains are so hardwired to drive like they do, because the cars have been relatively the same tech for so long. I think there's gonna be some growth pains driving these cars with different physics involved, should be entertaining.

And wrecking is totally part of NASCAR. Drivers wreck each other all the time, on purpose, lol. They try to make it look like it was an accident, but they understand that just getting a car close to another car can crash it, because of the down force made by their aero packages. They know how to cause their competitor to wreck, without ever touching their car. You better believe some drivers do this on purpose, lol.

Been an amazing weekend of racing at COTA first time for Nascar and all three series have had to race in the rain. A good number of people I know have been there this weekend. Only a few laps in to the Cup race and it's already entertaining af

Watching these big heavy stock cars race in the rain at the technical road course that is COTA is amazing.

Absolutely pouring visibility is next to nothing. My guy and several other just got taken out cause they couldnt see.

Omg. This racing in the rain is entertaining because they are slipping and sliding battling for position but might of been a bad idea. Just had a nasty crash again for lack of visibility.

Damn they had to call the race with 14 laps left because the weather go so bad. Raining way to hard and to much water on the track An absolute amazing race. Great addition to the Nascar schedule.
